Do you have any of these materials in your garage from past remodeling projects that you would like to donate to the cause? Or would you like to make a purchase as a donation or know of sources for great deals on building materials? We are in the process of collecting items for present and future work.

Drywall 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″ anything bigger than 30″ x 48″ is usable.

Drywall screws: 1-1/2″, 1-5/8″, 2′, 2-1/2″, 3″.

Electrical wire: 12-2 w/ground- any length.

Electrical boxes: outlet/switch or ceiling boxes.

Insulation: fiberglass batts, for 4″, 6″ or 8″ walls.

Expanding foam insulation, cans.

Sound deadening fiber board, any size.

Nails: framing, finish, etc.

Oak lumber: 2×6 any length or 5/4 any length

Cedar lumber: clear or small knot, 2×6 or 5/4, any length longer than 4′.

Fir, hemlock, or cedar 1×8, preferably clear, the longer the length the better.

Sliding door, with slider frame or just slab, preferably four vertical panel to match what’s in house, 30 or 32″ x 6′-8″, solid fir or hemlock.

ABS plastic drain pipe: 1-1/2″, 2″, 3″, 4″, ABS cement, fittings.

Wall-hung bathroom sink, Victorian style.

Pedestal sink, matching toilet: Victorian style.

Bathroom faucets: Victorian style.

Light fixtures: 1880s-90s era sconces, chandeliers, ceiling fixtures.

Kitchen cabinets: will need full set, plus small set for caretaker’s apartment, compatible with house.
